The ceramic grains of the Mirka Galaxy are engineered not to dull, as once the edge of the abrasive grain breaks off it simply forms new edges, making it possible for the Galaxy to continue cutting – from edge to edge.

The self-sharpening ceramic grains allow for a winning combination of long life, fast cut and easy polishability. Thanks to the optimized Multifit hole configuration, the abrasive is always correctly placed on any machine without the need to specifically align it.

At its core, the Mirka Galaxy is a multi purpose product, suitable for the sanding of both soft and hard materials as well as various substrates. Superb edge wear resistance, excellent clogging resistance, dust repellent coating, and optimal dust extraction - the Mirka Galaxy serve well in the automotive sector, in vehicle manufacturing, collision repair, marine production as well as in the wood sector.

Grits that come in a 100 PACK: 80, 100, 120, 150, 180, 240, 320, 400, 500, 600, Mixed Grits

Coarse Mixed Grits are available. The coarse box contains 20 discs of each of the following grits (100 discs in total): P80 | P120 | P180 | P240 | P320.

Good Abrasives

Good selection of abrasives. Used both an 80 grit and 240 grit which provided a good level of metal removal and finish. I would recommend over big box store products.

Best sanding discs yet!

I received my mixed box of 125mm Mirka Galaxy discs from Best Abrasives a little while ago...that stuff is amazing!
I let the 80 grit go on a piece of rough sawn Camphor Laurel and it was smooth in a couple of minutes. Very impressive compared to other brands...I'll be back for more! 🙂
